           Daendels road construction from Anyer (Banten) to Panarukan (East Java) as far as 1000 km in the year 1809 to 1810. This road was built in the era of Herman Willem Daendels, Governor-General of the Dutch East Indies 36th. Aims to accelerate the arrival of the letters sent between Anyer to Panarukan or as a post road, built for the Dutch military defense at that time. Anyer-Panarukan road is also used to support the Dutch cultivation system (cultuur stelsel), who was then applied to the Dutch colonial. With the way this crop of Priangan more easily delivered to the port in Cirebon brought into the country for the next windmill. This road also shorten travel time by road from Surabaya to Batavia previously taken 40 days could be shortened to seven hari.Pembangunan this road is Daendels monumental project, but must be paid to the many violations of human rights because it is done by force without reward or peonage. Thousands of Indonesian people died in forced labor.

         Deandels roading then do it in two stages, the first stage is the construction of roads to open shaft Batavia - Banten in 1808, at that time Daendels focuses its activities on the development of two ports in the north (peacock) and the south (Ujung Kulon). This path through the coastline of Batavia towards Carita, Caringin, penetrating Mount Pulosari, Jiput, Menes, Pandeglang, Lebak up Jasinga (Bogor). The second phase began in 1809, from Anyer through Pandeglang forked road toward Attack (north) and the Valley (south). Of Serang, next to the Tangerang, Jakarta, Bogor, Puncak, Cianjur, Bandung, Sumedang, Cirebon to Panarukan, along the northern coast of Java. The History of Catfish's Statue into The Clock in Bekasi

Many cities have special features shaped sculpture with a variety of forms, for example Jogja, specially with monument of Jogja, Surabaya with crocodile and sharp statue, etc. A special feature is definitely has implicit meaning or history in it. Back then, Bekasi could have the icon statue and the location was near Bekasi station. Catfish statue sculpture with harp pieces, but rather, known as the Statue of Catfish. This icon strong in memory due to its well-located communities. Catfish statue was built in 1955, the last for 7 years and abdicated in 2002.

Statue built by power Regent Moch. Djamhari moment felt incompatible with community willingness in make an icon. Regent tasting catfish and harp pieces fit because two of the land is growing rapidly in Bekasi, which is why it qualifies as an icon. Meanwhile the community feel less harp catfish and fruit is fast becoming an icon, catfish is a voracious fish which eaters all, and the price is cheap, while the harp though almost every fruit orchards in Bekasi there but price is cheap too. Then the 24 April 2002, the village chief of Sri Jaya, Tambun district, Damin Sada father and several community Bekasi incorporated in Hipprasi or BKM Baghasasi, came to the catfish statue to burn. Although now Statue of catfish had been replaced with a large clock and a large one specifically for advertising space, catfish and fruit harp sculpture created history in the city of Bekasi.
